VidFall Co-Founders Steve and Joel with Douglas Barry, President of Humane Society for Greater Nashua.
This past weekend, VidFall hid cash all around Nashua NH to benefit the Humane Society for Greater Nashua.
Sponsored by local businesses, the idea was to harness community engagement to raise awareness and money for the Humane Society by hiding cash around the Nashua NH area. Donations from VidFall and VidFall’s Indiegogo campaign helped raise money for the Humane Society.
Thanks to all those who participated and helped sponsor VidFall’s Cash Stash. With help from NH1, over 200 individuals participated in the event, and the hunt for cash was featured on WBIN-TV.
And lastly, congratulations to our $50 winners, Tricia & Daniel!
As a result of the Cash Stash Nashua, VidFall will donate $250 to the Humane Society for Greater Nashua to help shelter animals in need.
A big thank you to Chamberlain Antiques for sponsoring this event. If you have fine antiques that you’re looking to sell, please reach out to them!
Also thank you to Persian Rug Gallery, Silverlight Candle & Gift Shop, and Granite State Indoor Range and Gun Shop for their support.
Thanks to everyone involved for making this event a success, and we look forward to bringing this event to Boston in Spring 2015.
At VidFall, we have always made it a priority to give back to the community. We owe all of our success to our users, so it is important for us to help when we can.
This is why on September 18th, we teamed up with the Manchester Animal Shelter to hide hundreds of dollars in cash around downtown Manchester. In order to find the cash, participants had to come to VidFall and look for video clues that revealed the location of the hidden money. Even better, in each envelope was the picture and story of an animal in need of adoption. If the lucky participant posted the picture and story online and shared it with their family and friends, VidFall would make a matching donation to the Manchester Animal Shelter. Our goal was to leverage the power of social media sharing to help get as many animals adopted as possible.
Fortunately, It was a huge success! We hid 30 clues with prize packs ranging from $5 to $50. Not only were all the hidden cash envelopes found, but every animal picture and story was shared online! There was even an increase in adoptions during our campaign!
We could not have pulled off the event without the help of the following sponsors:
NH Fisher Cats
Cafe Le Reine
Spider Bite Inc
Thanks to all of our participants, and look out for events like the Cash Stash in the near future!
